Somewhat surprisingly, the self-proclaimed “Bay Area’s Party Station”, Wild 94.9, actually has a pretty decent oldies show on Sunday night. I stumbled upon Xavier the X-Man’s Sunday night throw down while waiting in the Oakland airport parking lot.

It was exhausting, but I finally managed to finish the update from WordPress1.5/K2BetaOne to WordPress2.0/K2BetaTwo. And the end result is… marginally better, I suppose. It works in IE now, though I had to manually apply the fixes from the newer default stylesheet into my custom template. There were a bunch of other minor things that needed work as well: the tagline needed an explicit “display: inline” to handle alignment of quotes for some reason, and I had to manually merge in all my personal hacks into the new header and page templates as well.

At least now I get the nifty WYSIWYG post editor.
